Dual Antenna-Mount power amplifier
In 2002, I designed a logic board for a line of Dual Antenna-Mount amplifiers, with built-in redundancy switching between two power amplifier modules. This board was largely based on the company’s existing technology and still used the 68hc11 microcontroller.
These units were geared to high-availability mobile applications, such as network news trucks for television remote broadcast which needed substantial microwave power in a compact, weatherproof package.
