Aluminum Hay Rack
Custom hay rack helps friends reach national reining horse competition.
Unhappy with commercially available aftermarket hay racks, friends asked me to design and build an aluminum hay rack for their horse trailer before making a long trip to Texas for a reining horse championship.
Conceived in 3D CAD
I reviewed other designs and then created mine in 3D CAD, fabricated the pieces at a friend’s welding shop, and installed the hay rack just in time for them to go to Texas and compete.
Installed on their Featherlite traile
They were very pleased with the ruggedness and refined appearance of the hay rack.
